Rabbi Nataf in US for YCT Yemei Iyun, Indianapolis Shabbaton

DCA Educational Director, Rabbi Francis Nataf recently returned from an important visit to the United States where he participated in the annual Yeshivat Chovevei Torah Rabbinical School Yemei Iyun in Bible and Jewish Thought, held this year in Teaneck N.J.
Rabbi Nataf spoke on "The Political Thought of the Netziv," "A Rabbinic Reading of Iyov" and "The Giveaite Concubine's Father and the Father in Law Leitscene." The shiurim and source sheets from the event will soon be available on the YCT website, http://www.yctorah.org
Rabbi Nataf was also the scholar-in-residence at Congregation Bnei Torah in Indianapolis, Indiana, where he gave lectures on “Through the Looking Glass: Jewish Lessons from Modernist Islam” and “Knowing the Competition: Contemporary Educational Applications of Da Mah le’hashiv.”
To round out his trip, Rabbi Nataf gave a class in New York City entitled “Clothing and Unclothing as a Leitmotif in Ya'akov’s Family” at the home of David and Dina Reis.
